怀卡托大学的硕预课程（Diploma in Postgraduate Preparation - DipPP）目前以可衔接11个硕士项目、涵盖14个专业方向（请见邮件最后表格清单），其中护理硕士 Master of Nursing Practice 为竞争最激烈的，学校就该专业方向的申请审理流程进行了梳理：

1. 关于入读Pre-Master硕预课程

计划升入护理硕士的，在硕预课程阶段无名额限制，也无护理硕士录取保障，所有人需要通过护理硕士的筛选流程。确定升读方向为护理硕士的，仅可选择就读每年2月份开学的硕士预科入学季。

2. 护理硕士的入学筛选

将有健康学院主导该阶段的申请人评估，满足护理硕士入学条件的硕预学生可获得入读位置，未满足条件的可以进入waitlist或选择改读其他专业的硕士。需要明确的是，护理硕士作为配额类课程，会专门为硕预升入的学生预留一定名额。

Q: Can you issue a pathway offer for the Pre-Masters progressing to the MNursPrac?
A: No, we will issue two stand-alone offers for these programmes due to the additional selection criteria to the MNursPrac.

Q: Does student need to sit IELTS to meet the English language requirements to the MNursPrac?
A: No, because satisfactory completion of the DipPP meets both the academic and English language requirements for the MNursPrac

Q: What if the student is not selected for the MNursPrac?
A: They can apply for an alternative progression master's degree. See appendix.

Q: Does student need to take any paper when they are studying the Pre-Masters?
A: No, all students enrolled in the Pre-Masters will take the same courses, this will allow the maximum flexibility when choosing their progression master's degree. They can change their mind if they find other Master’s suits them better or have a better employability even when they are enrolled in the Pre-Masters. (note they may need to change their student visa in some situation).
