英国智囊机构（Onward）根据学生办公室（OfS）的参考指标，划分出了目前提供低质量专业课程的大学名单。 根据数据显示，有26个英国大学的专业课程都低于最低参考标准，其中胡弗汉顿大学（University of Wolverhampton ）拥有的“低质量”专业课程数量最多。 下面是目前专业不符合最低标准的所有大学名单： ▲图源Onward 从上图可以看出，胡弗汉顿大学（University of Wolverhampton ）有5个专业都属于“低质量”，包括心理学、商业管理、法律等。 另外还有两所大学拥有3个及以上的低质量专业课程，这两所大学分别是London Metropolitan University 和 London South Bank University。 虽然这里也有像商业管理这样的大热专业，但整体来看，这些专业之所以低质量，与大学本身有关系。 对比东伦敦大学（2022 QS排名世界801-1000）唯一被归为低质量的商业管理专业，Progression rate（继续深造/从事非技术性工作的岗位）率仅有49.9%，远低于最低标准的60%。 在LSE读相同商业管理专业的同学，毕业生收入则在34,500英镑！ ▲LSE高薪专业 | 图源Times 通过这个对比可以很容易看出，排名靠后的大学所提供的部分专业确实并没有给学生带来很多积极的帮助，至少在毕业薪酬上是这样。 而且面临制裁风险的大学排名大多都在QS世界排名800+... 不过，教育部表示，新规定的设置不太可能给英国主流大学带来太多影响；相对来说，一些私立或教育机构开设的课程最容易受到制裁，尤其是辍学率较高、完成学位学生人数很少的机构和专业，会被当做重点制裁对象。
